Upper Peninsula deaths believed to be murder-suicide
By The Associated Press
IRONWOOD, Mich. (AP) - Authorities say an 83-year-old Upper Peninsula man apparently shot and killed his 77-year-old wife before fatally shooting himself. The Daily Globe reports that David Rudolph Mukavitz likely killed Constance Helen Mukavitz and himself Monday. Director of Public Safety Andrew DiGiorgio says both were in ill health, which may have been a contributing factor. Officers responded to their home to find both dead. The deaths remain under investigation and a review is expected from the Gogebic County prosecutor.
