NEENAH - People in the Fox Valley laced up their shoes for a good cause Sunday August 17th.

More than 200 people went out for the 7th annual walk for Huntington's Disease today at Riverside Park.

Huntington's Disease is a genetic disorder with no cure.

A group called "Team Hope" raises around $20,000 for the Fox Cities each year. The goal of the event is to draw attention to ALS and to gain support.

Michell Gygax, the Wisconsin Chapter Coordinator, said, "I think for those with Huntington's Disease, or those affected by it as family members, it is one of those diseases that doesn't have a lot of support in the medical community."

All of the money raised at Sunday's event goes to help educated people on the disease.
