Suspected meth lab found in Oshkosh
OSHKOSH - Police have called in a crew from Chicago to clean up what they believe is a meth lab.
The investigation started around 2:45 a.m. Friday in Washington County, officers say. That was when a 33-year-old woman and 32-year-old man, both from Oshkosh, were arrested for drug possession during a traffic stop.
Washington County authorities then tipped off Oshkosh police that there might be a meth lab at a home in the 1500 block of Central St. Oshkosh police went there and found in the garage chemicals used for making drugs.
Police say they contacted neighbors and that there is no public health threat.
The case is still under investigation.
