Skateboards will be allowed on the two state recreational trails in Brown County, following a County Board vote Wednesday night.
While the vote allows skateboarders immediately, it will take some time for the county to update websites, signs and broucheres, according to assistant parks director Matt Kriese.
Previously, skateboards were not allowed on the Fox River and Mountain-Bay trails.
The fees will be same as for bikers and rollerbladers over the age of 16: $4 for a day pass and $20 for a season pass, Kriese said.
There is no fee for walking.
