Police were called to an apartment complex in the 2100 block of Camelot Court on Saturday, August 23rd. They received a report of a man with knives who was threatening to hurt himself.
Officers learned the man had gotten into a fight earlier with his wife. He also allegedly threatened her.
Police say the man made references that he wanted officers to shoot him. They add that he was confrontational during negotiations, and advanced on officers.
Two bean bag rounds were shot, and the suspect was arrested.
He was initially taken to the hospital, but was later transported to jail.
Charges of recklessly endangering safety, damage to property, and disorderly conduct are being recommended.
