FOND DU LAC (WLUK) - Emergency crews rescued a man from the water in Fond du Lac Wednesday evening.

It happened shortly before 8 p.m. at the "G dock," at the city owned marina.

The Fond du Lac Fire Department says a bystander called 911 after hearing a man yell for help. The man had fallen off the dock, and into the water.

The Department says the man was holding on to either the dock or a boat, and was getting tired and losing his grip.

The man was treated on scene, and did not need to go to the hospital.

The Fond du Lac Police and Fire Departments both responded to the scene.
