BROWN COUNTY - Stretches of Hwy. 41 in the Green Bay area are set to close overnight Thursday and Friday.Crews are installing pipe across the highway, repairing pavement and filling potholes.The state Department of Transportation plans to close Hwy. 41 southbound between Lombardi Ave. and Hwy. 172 from 9 p.m. Thursday until 5 a.m. Friday. Drivers will be detoured onto Lombardi Ave., to Ashland Ave., then back to Hwy. 41.During the same hours the next night, Hwy. 41 northbound is set to close between Ashland Ave. and Lombardi Ave. The detour will be the reverse of the southbound detour.There are also several ramp closures connected to the project:
Southbound US 41 on-ramp from Lombardi Avenue will be closed on Thursday from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Friday
Northbound US 41 on-ramps from Main Avenue and Oneida Street will both be closed on Friday from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Saturday
Northbound US 41 on-ramp from westbound WIS 172 will also be closed on Friday from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Saturday
Traffic will be detoured off at Pilgrim Way. Take Pilgrim Way east to Ashland Avenue, follow Ashland Avenue north to Lombardi Avenue, and take Lombardi Avenue west to northbound US 41
