The announcement was made at the Chamber's annual Welcome Back Packers Luncheon Wednesday at the Lambeau Atrium.
The award is given annually at the luncheon and chosen by the Green Bay Packers organization.
Rodgers, going into his 10th season with the Packers, was chosen due to his outstanding character he presents both on the field and in the community.
Rodgers is committed to various charities and is particularly involved with the Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer Fund, an organization working to cure childhood cancer and blood disorders.
Rodgers has also made himself available for dozens of children who used their wish to meet him and the rest of the Packers team through Make-A-Wish Foundation.
