Oshkosh Heroin Dealer Sentenced to Federal Prison

OSHKOSH - Dustin J. Burdick of Oshkosh was sentenced to 30 months in federal prison on July 9, 2014.

24-year-old Burdick had previously entered a guilty plea to a single count of conspiracy to distribute heroin.

Burdick was recruited by his friend Sherman M. Threets, to act as a dealer in Threets' heroin distribution business. During that time, Burdick unknowingly sold heroin on numerous occasions to an undercover police officer.

In addition to the prison sentence, Burdick was ordered to spend an additional 5 years on supervised release.
