Number of people at UWO with norovirus-like symptoms up to 130
OSHKOSH (WLUK) -- The number of people self-reporting norovirus-like symptoms at UW-Oshkosh has risen to 130.
University officials say that number represents about one percent of the campus community. Most of the infected people are students who live in residence halls.
Most campus events are continuing as planned. Friday's event, 'Cold Hands, Warm Heart' in Reeve Hall has been canceled.
Those visiting campus are advised to be aware of the outbreak and wash their hands thoroughly and practice good hygiene.
The university is posting updates on its website.
