Crash between minivan and semi kills 2

UPDATE: The victims have been identified as a husband and wife from rural Crivitz: Jeremy Sutrick, 22, and Kelli Kile-Sutrick, 20.

The driver of the semi tractor was a 55-year-old man from Custer.


TOWN OF MOUNTAIN (WLUK) -- Two people were killed Friday morning when their minivan hit a semi head-on.

Oconto County sheriff's officials say the crash happened around 11:40 a.m. on Hwy. 64, just west of Hwy. 32 in the Town of Mountain. According to investigators, The minivan was headed east when it crossed the center line and hit the semi. Road conditions appeared to be a factor, the sheriff's office said. A wintry mix of slushy snow was impacting traffic in the morning.

The two people in the minivan were pronounced dead at the scene. The semi driver was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

Names of those involved have not been released.
