New York man accused of traveling to Shawano to meet girl for sex
GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- A man from New York state has been indicted for allegedly traveling to Shawano to meet a girl for sex.
Prosecutors say James A. Huskisson, also known as Jason Desantes, of Ozone Park, New York, had been messaging the girl online. Soon after making contact, he allegedly send pictures of his genitalia and demanded explicit photos from her.
According to the criminal complaint, the administrator from Wolf River Lutheran School in Shawano contacted police because of a suspicious car in the parking lot with New York plates. A few days later, a female student told the school that a student said she was in an inappropriate relationship with a man from New York, and that he was in Wisconsin and had bought her some items. Police inspected the girl’s phone, and found contacts between them, including sexually explicit photos the two exchanged.
The complaint alleges that while Huskisson was in Wisconsin, the two had sex, and then Huskisson returned to New York. He was arrested near his home.
Huskisson was previously convicted of two counts of first-degree forcible rape in New York. He spent time in prison for those crimes and is required to register as a sex offender.
If convicted, Huskisson faces 25 years to life in federal prison.
