GREEN BAY - A new trail aimed at teaching children opened at Green Bay's Southwest Branch Library Thursday. It has colorful signs that offer suggestions on ways to make learning fun. Different letters, numbers, and shapes are painted on the sidewalk itself. Wisconsin's first lady Tonette Walker was on hand to dedicate the trail. Those involved with the project say the trail can merge communities together. "In an integrated way, in our community exemplifies what we believe in the United Way is a community investment that makes a community impact," said Greg Maass, Brown County United Way CEO."The library is thriving and this is a great way to interact with children and keep them involved and engaged," said Walker. The trail was made possible through donations and the United Way.
