BERLIN - A 26-year-old Berlin man was arrested in connection with a stabbing that sent one man to the hospital.

Police say the stabbing happened around 4:20 p.m. Sunday on a sidewalk in the 100 block of S. Adams Ave. Several people were involved, police say.

When emergency crews arrived, they treated the victim at the scene, then took him to the hospital. He was stabbed in the abdomen and was expected to survive.

Meanwhile, authorities found the suspect a few blocks away. He still had the knife with him.

Investigators say they are still interviewing witnesses. They called the stabbing an "isolated incident" and said there are no other suspects.
