Sunday marks last full day of winter
(WLUK) -- It was a rather gray start to the weekend, though we dried out nicely and even ended up with some above-normal temperatures. Our weather gets even better, by just a little bit, to close the weekend.
Today we see some more sunshine with partly cloudy skies and a high of 47. Lakeshore spots remain closer to 40 thanks to a south-southeasterly breeze off the lake.
Some rain showers move through Sunday night with lows in the upper 30s.
Monday marks the start of Spring (officially beginning at 5:29 am), and it looks nice -- after a cloudy start, we see more sunshine in the afternoon and highs get up to 52 degrees.
Tuesday will be partly cloudy but a bit cooler, with a high near 44. That mark is still a few degrees above normal, though.
We're cooler yet on Wednesday, though still mostly sunny, with highs only in the mid 30s.
Some rather wet weather is possible toward the end of next week, though significant wintry weather looks unlikely at this point.
