Three pedestrians injured in Manitowoc crash
MANITOWOC (WLUK) -- Three people were injured in a crash outside Holy Family Memorial Hospital in Manitowoc Tuesday.
Police say it happened shortly before 4:00 p.m.
The driver, a 71-year-old Manitowoc man, lost control of his vehicle and backed into another vehicle, and struck three pedestrians, a 97–year-old Valders woman, a 64-year-old St. Nazianz woman, and an 82-year-old Manitowoc man.
The driver then tried to pull forward and lost control of the vehicle again, crashing into another vehicle in the employee parking lot, north of Meadow Lane, police say.
The 97-year-old Valders woman suffered serious injuries, the 64-year-old St. Nazianz woman and the 82-year-old Manitowoc man were treated for minor injuries.
Officials are investigating the incident.
