MANITOWOC (WLUK) -- The car ferry left Ludington, Michigan this morning, arrived in Manitowoc early this afternoon, and is right now about half an hour from docking back in Ludington.

The SS Badger has been sailing for more than 60 years.

But this year, there are some changes.

Along with some new games and video games, those adults taking the four-hour ride across Lake Michigan can also partake in a Bloody Mary bar, or a taco bar.

And you may not have needed it today, but there was also another upgrade to make the trip more comfortable.

"We're looking for a great season we really are and we've just put in an air conditioner in the main room and it will be a lot cooler than it was last year. We're going to have a really good year," said Robert Manglitz, president and CEO of Lake Michigan Carferry.

A round trip on the SS Badger is $111 for adults and $39 for children.
