Rollover crash sends Sturgeon Bay man to hospital
STURGEON BAY (WLUK) -- A Friday afternoon crash, in Sturgeon Bay, left one man's SUV upside down.
Sturgeon Bay police say the crash happened Friday at 3:23 p.m. on N 5th Avenue and Kentucky Street.
Here's what police say happened -- as the SUV, driven by a 55-year-old Sturgeon Bay man headed south on 5th Avenue, a 91-year-old Sturgeon Bay woman headed east on Kentucky Street.
Officials say the man had the right of way.
The woman didn't stop and ran through the stop sign hitting the SUV which caused it to flip over, according to officials.
Police go on to say the man was taken to the hospital but his injuries weren't serious. Meantime, the woman wasn't hurt.
"Citation(s) are expected to be issued upon completion of the investigation," Sturgeon Bay police said.
