Southwest High School shows off newly renovated auditorium
Southwest High School opened its doors to unveil a newly renovated auditorium.
The Green Bay school showcased the upgrades at an open house Tuesday night.
The changes include new seating, carpeting, painting and lighting.
Significant donations were received from area businesses and individuals to make the $250,000 renovation a reality.
A brief ceremony was held to recognize them.
Staff members say the upgrade was definitely needed.
"For those that are familiar with this space, we had yellow seats and at one point I think there was green carpeting and red curtains and we are a blue school," said choir director, Brandon Rockstroh.
The facility was formally renamed the "Marsh Family Auditorium."
