After the holidays there's a big push, and once the first of the year comes around, we don't really have a big push for a food drive. So this is really perfect timing for all of the food banks in the state of Wisconsin. Six food banks are participating in this event, and it serves 24 different agencies in Brown County. So it's really important to get there, and to get these bags, and to get them to the people who really need them," said Lyn Hildenbrand with Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin. If you couldn't make it to the brat fry, there's still time to help. You can drop off non-perishable food items at any local Walmart until February 9.You can also buy a prepackaged bag of donations to add to the collection.
