Pups dip their paws in Ashwaubomay Lake
ASHWAUBENON (WLUK) -- Ashwaubomay Lake held its final swim of the season on Wednesday but there was plenty of splashing around today as the lake went to the dogs!.
The annual Doggie Dip took place Saturday afternoon.
Three hundred eighty dogs, and their owners came out, the largest canine turnout ever.
For three hours the dogs could swim, and enjoy some other pet friendly activities.
"It's just a fun time for the dogs. They have a blast playing in the water, running around it's just a good time," said Lori Nachtwey with the Bay Area Humane Society.
Admission was $5 a dog. A portion of the money raised goes to the Bay Area Humane Society.
