New students move in at St. Norbert College
DE PERE (WLUK) -- It's a sign a new school year is right around the corner.
Thursday was move-in day for first-year students at St. Norbert College in De Pere.
More than 500 students moved into student housing.
Many say it's exciting to learn new things and make new friends.
Another person on campus for his first year in a new capacity shared in that excitement.
Brian Bruess graduated from St. Norbert in 1990. Now, he's back as college president.
"We have an unbelievably vibrant and rigorous academic program, a vibrant campus life, and the secret to the student's success is the level in which they engage themselves in their education experience. So we just want them to live in, and take advantage of all we have to offer, and just know it's an exciting time of life," he said.
Classes begin Monday.
