Museums offer free admission Wednesday night
BROWN COUNTY (WLUK) -- Wednesday evening, it'll be free to get into 12 Brown County organizations focused on history.
The third annual History Treasure Tour will take place from 4-8 p.m. to celebrate Wisconsin Museums Week. The Neville Public Museum, the National Railroad Museum and the Oneida Nation Museum will be among the locations.
There will be behind-the-scenes tours and performances.
Organizers say the event is to help better serve the community.
"A lot of people don't have that opportunity to really learn what's available or sometimes don't have the resources to come, so we want to make sure that we're open to everybody and that our community gets a chance to taste what we have here," Jacqueline Frank, executive director of the National Railroad Museum, said.
A list of locations for the History Treasure Tour is available online.
