Motorcyclist badly hurt in crash with car
TOWN OF MORRISON (WLUK) -- A motorcyclist was seriously hurt in a crash in southern Brown County Thursday.
The sheriff's office says the crash happened just after 1 p.m. in the Town of Morrison. A 22-year-old man headed east on Hill Road stopped at the stop sign at the intersection with Hwy. W. Thinking he had enough time to cross in front of a motorcycle coming up from the north, he pulled out. However, the motorcycle hit the car, throwing the motorcyclist off the bike and onto the road.
The motorcyclist, a 55-year-old Green Bay man, was airlifted to the hospital with a serious head injury and cuts to his body. He was not wearing a helmet.
Authorities are considering charging the car driver with failure to yield from a stop sign, as well as other charges.
