Middle school students in Pulaski will be getting some new sports equipment, thanks to a foundation representing a former Wisconsin Badger and current NFL star.

Pulaski Community Middle School announced that it has received a $16,913.75 grant from the Justin J. Watt Foundation. School leaders say the money will be used to buy new soccer, volleyball and wrestling uniforms, as well as shoulder pads and helmets for football.

Named in honor of Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt, the foundation helps middle schools in Texas and Wisconsin that do not have enough funding for after-school athletic programs or have no such programs at all.
