Police: Shooting on Green Bay's east side

GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- One person is injured after a shooting overnight in Green Bay.

Crews responded to the 2600 block of Browning Road around 1:30 a.m.

The victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Police say the shooting doesn't appear to be a random act of violence.

"Based on the investigation so far, we do not believe the general public is in danger and this appears to be an isolated incident between known people," a press release from the police department said.

Officials have not said if anyone is in custody and added, no further information will be released this weekend to preserve the integrity of the investigation.
