GREEN BAY (WLUK) - The Billy Joel concert at Lambeau Field brought with it a festive atmosphere of flipping burgers, drinking beer, and playing bean bag toss for admirers of the singer. Laura Hermann is feeling electrified. It's her first time at a Billy Joel concert.

"My best friend Britt and I would listen to Joel like all the time while we were growing up in middle school and high school", Hermann says.

She says the legendary musician caught her attention years ago. Hermann wanted to go to a Billy Joel concert 20 years ago but didn't have the money.

Herman says, "to see them live, I'd pay any price. So I'm just really excited to be here."

Ron Crow from Tomah agrees and says he grew up listening to the singer and songwriter.

"To me this is once in a lifetime because they don't come to Wisconsin too often."

Kirsten Lemus from Sheboygan Falls appreciates the stories Billy Joel tells behind his songs.

"I just think he's an incredible musician." Kirsten says his music brings positive vibes.

More than 40,000 fans were expected to turn out for Billy Joels' concert at Lambeau Field.
