One person dead after three vehicle crash in Ashwaubenon

UPDATE: The Ashwaubenon Public Safety Department has identified the drivers in this crash. Richard Fredrick of De Pere was driving westbound on Grant Street, when he failed to stop for a stop sign at an intersection on Packerland Drive. John Nelson of Appleton was traveling southbound on Packerland Drive. Nelson was riding a three wheeled sport cycle. He was ejected in the crash, and later died at a hospital from his injuries.



The crash happened around 2 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Packerland Drive and Grant Street.

The driver of a three wheeled sport cycle involved in the crash died.


ASHWAUBENON (WLUK) -- Ashwaubenon Public Safety responded to a three vehicle crash on Wednesday.

The crash happened at the intersection of Packerland Drive and Grant Street.

Public Safety says one person was taken from the crash site with unknown injuries.

Traffic is being rerouted and officials are asking the public to avoid the area.

The intersection was closed for several hours, during an investigation. It has since been reopened.
