Gamblers hold annual mitten toss

ASHWAUBENON (WLUK) -- For the ninth year, the Green Bay Gamblers hosted its annual Mitten Toss.
Fans were encouraged to bring a new pair of mittens and toss them on the ice after the Gamblers scored their first goal -- which happened in the ____ period.
They will be donated to children in need in Northeast Wisconsin.
Since 2009, the event has collected over 11-thousand pairs of mittens.
