GREEN BAY - Choosing your outfit may be a bit easier Friday. It's Wear Yellow Day for cancer awareness.The event is coordinated by a group of students and staff at Green Bay Preble High School. Sting Cancer members are asking the community to take part. According to the American Cancer Society, more than one million people in the U.S. get cancer each year. Those involved in Sting Cancer say the disease hits close to home. "My brother and my cousin both had cancer in the same year about six years ago, and I just know the effect cancer can have on families," said Alysia Vang, Preble High School junior.T-shirts are on sale for $7 at the school until 7 p.m. Thursday.All of the money will go toward making comfort bags for cancer patients.
