GREENVILLE (WLUK) -- Those who want to get through airport security faster will have a chance to enroll in the TSA Precheck program in May.

The Transportation Security Administration is holding a screening at Appleton International Airport May 1-5. TSA Precheck allows travelers through security without removing shoes, light outerwear or belts, or having certain containers of liquids or laptop computers checked.

Precheck lanes are available at more than 180 airports and 30 airlines in the U.S.

Those enrolling are encouraged to sign up for a 10-minute appointment, but walk-ins are also accepted. Travelers will need to bring proof of identity and U.S. citizenship. TSA Precheck costs $85 and is valid for five years.

For the Appleton International Airport event, free parking will be available in the short-term lot.
