New freezer needed for Oshkosh Area Community Pantry
OSHKOSH (WLUK) -- An appliance that's served thousands of community members needs to be replaced.
The Oshkosh Area Community Pantry says its 10-year-old walk-in freezer used to preserve frozen foods for its hunger relief program is becoming more and more costly to repair.
"We have gotten quotes to fix the freezer, which have been almost as much as a new freezer with no long-term guarantees," said executive director, Terri Green.
Around 4,500 people reply on the OACP for food assistance every month.
If you would like to donate money to the purchase of a new freezer, you can donate online at OACPtoday.org or over the phone at (920) 651-9960.
