APPLETON (WLUK) -- Even though Saturday is the day before Easter, egg hunts have already started.

That includes what and Appleton church considers Wisconsin's largest indoor Easter egg hunt.

It was held at Pathways Church in Appleton.

Every year, thousands of people from around the Fox Valley participate in the search for more than 30,000 eggs which hold more than 3,000 pounds of candy.

Event organizers say the day is a way to bring the community together, as well as celebrate the message of Easter.
