State and dairy staff then met to discuss the incident, according to Casey Jones, DNR agricultural runoff management specialist. The dairy revised its spill response plan, agreed to have more staff monitoring spreading operations, will limit application after dark, and improve checks of manure lagood levels. The DNR has not decided yet if it will ask the state Dept.
