GREEN BAY - The familiar sound of Christmas bells arrived months early on Green Bay's east side Saturday.

The Salvation Army is hosting its Christmas in July campaign.

Bellringers were on hand at Festival Foods to help raise money. Among those taking part was FOX 11's Emily Deem.

This is the second year the Salvation Army has held the mid-summer fundraiser. The campaign, which started Friday, lasts nine days and the hope is to raise $30,000.
