Baths for the Brave thanks local veteran with bathroom remodel
MENASHA, Wis. (WLUK) -- A national movement is making a difference for an area veteran.
The Baths for the Brave program remodeled a Menasha veteran's bathroom Wednesday.
Norman Bodway is a Bronze Star recipient and saved at least five lives while serving in the Korean War.
Baths for the Brave's mission is to celebrate and improve the lives of veterans.
The new shower, provided by Tundraland Home Improvements, is designed to improve accessibility.
"It is going to be a lot easier to get in and out," Bodway said. "I think it's going to be great and I am thankful to Tundraland to do this for me."
Nine other veterans from across the country also received remodels from Baths for the Brave Wednesday -- worth a retail value of $100,000.
