Arrest made in armed robbery of pharmacy
MANITOWOC (WLUK) -- Three people have been arrested as a result of the investigation into the Tuesday armed robbery of a pharmacy.
Andrew Haney, 17, appeared in court Thursday. A $5,000 cash bond was set -- with the stipulation that he attend his classes at Manitowoc Lincoln High School if released. He is due back in court Jan. 8.
Two others, a 38-year-old man and 17-year-old boy, have not yet appeared in court. A police report shows the 38-year-old man was arrested while police were searching for Haney, who was reported as a runaway. That man then allegedly ran from police.
It is unclear whether either of the other two were involved in the armed robbery.
The robbery happened at the CVS Pharmacy, 701 E. Reed Ave. Police say around 8:30 p.m., the robber went in, showed a knife and demanded cash. An employee gave the robber cash, then the robber left.
