Appleton's 'Street Music Week' helping Feed America
APPLETON (WLUK) -- Local music performers are making a difference in the Fox Valley.
It's all part of the sixth annual Street Music Week in downtown Appleton.
A variety of artists will play for one hour each day to help raise funds for Feeding America of Eastern Wisconsin.
Organizers say the event has grown from the previous year.
"People are catching on to this now and it's gotten bigger every year," said Audrey Hendrickson of Heid Music. "The main goal of is to help raise money for the hungry people."
Performances take place from noon to 1:00 p.m. until Friday. An extra performance will be Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
