Appleton Police looking for two suspects in armed robbery
UPDATE: Appleton police say they located the vehicle they were looking for, but they say they are still looking for the two robbery suspects.
Police say the vehicle was recovered at Mid Vallee Golf Course near De Pere.

APPLETON (WLUK) -- Appleton police say they are looking for suspects involved in an armed robbery Wednesday afternoon.
Police were called to the Capital Credit Union, 2009 E. Calumet St., around 12:18 p.m.
Witnesses reported two men, with masks, robbed the bank at gunpoint with handguns and left the scene in a nearby vehicle.
Appleton police say they located the suspect vehicle driving northbound on Highway 441. Police say while preparing to make a traffic stop, the suspect vehicle sped up.
Due to the reckless driving and high-rate of speed, police decided to stop chasing the vehicle on Holland Road, near County JJ.
Police say the suspects they are looking for are described as two black men. One is about six feet tall, weighing around 200 pounds, wearing a blue sweatshirt and red sweatpants. The second suspect is described as five feet, eight inches tall with medium build, wearing dark clothing.
The suspect vehicle is described as a gray 2008 Pontiac G6 with Wisconsin license plate, 646-XVV.

Police say do not attempt to chase or apprehend the suspects yourself.
Due to the nature of the call, several schools in the area were on lockdown for a short time as a precaution. The lockdown was lifted after the suspected vehicle was spotted.
