APPLETON - An annual tradition celebrating art was back in Appleton Sunday.
City Park was once again transformed into the 54th annual Art in the Park event.
Visitors could grab a bite to eat, enjoy some live music entertainment and shop from nearly 200 artists featuring work in all different kinds of mediums.
Organizers say it a great way to bring the community together.
"It's a good way to offer artists, not just from around our community, but the eight states that they travel in, for an opportunity to sell their work and for our community to come together and enjoy a great day of fun, food, art and even being able to participate in the art with our community art project," said Fox Cities Building for the Arts president Pamela Williams-Lime.
Upwards of 22 thousand people come out to the event every year.
The fundraiser brings in about $75 thousand for the Trout Museum and the Fox Cities Building for the Arts.
