GREEN BAY - FOX 11 continues to dig deeper into what appears to be a widespread heroin ring in Brown County. Over the past few days, prosecutors have accused at least 12 people of being part of the ring. Prosecutors are calling it one of the largest heroin distribution conspiracies in the area.Another man, also facing heroin charges, was scheduled to be in court Monday afternoon. However, court officials said he could not appear because he is in the hospital. It is unknown when the man will be in court.Prosecutors said the operation has been going on for about a year and there were multiple levels of involvement. Charges have not been filed against any of the suspects. The court documents for the cases are being kept secret. The documents were sealed last week and were still sealed as of Monday afternoon.Multiple law enforcement agencies were involved with the arrests.
