Andrew Curran sentenced to six years in prison
GREEN BAY - A former Marine recruiter who used the social media accounts of recruits to solicit nude photos of their female friends was sentenced Friday to six years in prison.
Andrew Curran previously pleaded no contest to two counts if misappropriating identifying information and one count of possession of child pornography.
Judge Kendall Kelley also placed Curran on extended supervision for 12 years.
Curran worked for the recruiting office in Ashwaubenon. Prosecutors say he used that job to get log in information from recruits, and reached out to friends of those recruits. They say during those conversations he did receive nude pictures from females. Child pornography was also found on Curran's computer during a search of his home.
