DE PERE (WLUK) -- An interim dean has been named for St. Norbert College's business school.

David Wegge has been named the temporary leader of the Schneider School of Business & Economics. He will take over for Kevin Quinn, who has been named president of Aquinas College in Michigan.

Quinn had led St. Norbert's business school since it was created in 2014.

Wegge is currently executive director emeritus of the St. Norbert College Strategic Research Institute, which he founded in 1984 as the St. Norbert College Survey Center.

“I’m delighted that Dave has accepted our offer to serve as interim dean of the Schneider School of Business & Economics,” St. Norbert president Thomas Kunkel said in a news release. “Dave is extremely well known and respected by the Wisconsin business community. He is equally respected by the entire St. Norbert campus community. So the Schneider School will be in great hands as we conduct our national search for Kevin’s permanent replacement.”
