Vehicle break-in suspects arrested on Green Bay's west side
GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- Police caught a man and a boy they believe went through vehicles on Green Bay's west side overnight.
Just before 1 a.m., police say they were called to the 800 block of Waverly Place for a report of people breaking into vehicles. Once in the area, officers saw the two running in the 1700 block of 11th Avenue. Officers then set up a perimeter and used a police dog to track the two and eventually arrest them.
One was a 20-year-old man, the other a juvenile, police say. Formal charges have not been filed.
To discourage thieves, police recommend locking your car doors and removing valuables or putting them in the trunk. Park your car in a locked garage if possible.
