TOWN OF EMPIRE (WLUK) -- A traffic stop landed two Fond du Lac teens behind bars on drug charges.

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office says the teens were pulled over Friday on 7 Hills Road near Hwy. H in the Town of Empire. During the stop, a deputy and police dog found four one-gallon bags of marijuana. The bags weighed a total of a little more than two pounds.

The two teens in the vehicle, Dakota Mueller, 17, and Spencer Owens, 18, were arrested. Owens has been charged with a felony count of possession with intent to deliver THC, the active ingredient in marijuana. Mueller has been charged with a misdemeanor count of possession of THC.

Both teens have been released on bond, sheriff's officials say.
