Green Bay police investigating two shootings

GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- Police are investigating whether two shootings on Green Bay's west side could be related.

The first shooting happened around 10:30 p.m. Thursday at a home in the 1100 block of Roscoe Street. Witnesses told police one person was in a bedroom when a bullet went into the house and ended up in a closet. Investigators also found shell casings in the street.

No one was hurt.

Then, around 10:40 a.m. Friday, a person who lives in the 900 block of Christiana Street reported her house was shot. She told officers she thought she heard fireworks around 11:30 p.m. Thursday, but did not call police until the morning. Investigators found several bullet holes in the house, and shell casings in the street.

No one was hurt, and the house sustained moderate damage.
