Snickerdoodle Apple Cobbler

Ingredients:

7 cups peeled granny smith or other firm apple

3/4 cup brown sugar

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp vanilla

Topping:

1 tsp sugar

1/4 tsp cinnamon

1 pkg refrigerated sugar dough

Directions:

Heat oven to 375 degrees.

In large bowl, toss apples, brown sugar, cinnamon and vanilla. Pour evenly into a deep dish pie plate. In small bowl, mix granulated sugar and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon. Sliced dough and dip into cinnamon-sugar mixture and arrange on top of apples. Bake for 50 to 55 minutes or until top is golden brown. Cool slightly before serving and serve with vanilla ice cream.
