Snickerdoodle Bars

Ingredients:

2 2/3 cups all purpose flour

2 tsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

2 cups packed brown sugar

1 cup butter, softened

2 eggs, at room temperature

1 Tbsp vanilla extract

2 Tbsp Turbinado sugar

2 tsp ground cinnamon

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9" x 13" baking dish with non-stick spray. In mixing bowl whisk together flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside. In a large mixing bowl, beat together the butter, brown sugar, eggs & vanilla until smooth. Add the flour mixture to this mixture beating until well blended. Spread batter into prepared pan. In small bowl combine sugar and cinnamon, stir until mixed together. Sprinkle the cinnamon & sugar mixture over top of batter. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until surface springs back after gentle push. Allow to cool before cutting.
