Pizza Nachos

3 tablespoons butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons flour

1 1/2 to 2 cups milk

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning

1 bag Tortilla Chips

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cups pepperoni, cut Into Bite Size Pieces

1 cup cooked and crumbled Italian sausage

1 small can sliced black olives, drained

1/2 cup diced green pepper

1/4 cup chopped scallions

1 teaspoon dried oregano

Warm pizza Sauce, optional


Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds stirring constantly. Add flour and cook another minute, stirring constantly. Add 1 1/2 cups milk and bring to boil, whisking often. Turn down heat and add heavy cream.. Whisk in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. If sauce is too thick add a bit more milk. Keep sauce warm. Preheat oven to 400F. Place chips in a large oven-proof skillet or on a baking sheet. Drizzle the garlic cream sauce all over the chips. Top with half the shredded mozzarella cheese. Next top with the pepperoni, sausage, olives bell pepper, and scallions. Top with the mozzarella cheese and sprinkle oregano on top.. Place in the preheated oven, and bake 5 to 8 minutes or until bubbly. Serve with warm pizza sauce for dipping.
