Ingredients:1 1/2 pounds ground chuck1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce2 cloves minced garlic1 to 2 scallions, chopped1/2 cup crumbled blue cheeseSalt and freshly ground black pepperHard rolls or Hamburger buns, split and toastedLettuceSliced Tomatoesmayored wine butter (optional, recipe below)Directions:Use your hands to gently mix the first 5 ingredients together. Shape into 4 to 6 patties. Chill until you are ready to cook. Season patties with salt and pepper. Pre-heat grill. Grill burgers for 3 to 5 minutes per side, or until internal temp of 165. Don't press down on burgers while cooking. Serve on split, toasted hamburger buns or hard rolls with lettuce, tomato slices, and mayonnaise if desired.Red Wine Butter: 1 stick unsalted butter, softenedsalt and pepper to taste2 cloves garlicmixture of fresh herbs about 1 tbsp of each; parsley, rosemary, thyme and chives 1 Tbsp dry red wineCombine together until fully blended. Top on burgers and other items, also great on steak.
